This tree-tiered cake with an elegant gradient in mauve tones and natural flowers from Janet Florals is a classic. The branch accents in muted greens enhance the deep and rich colors of the flowers. I was surprised by how much the flowers smelled while I was setting them on the cake. This cake is a 6-8-10 inch combination serving 74 standard portions, good for a large wedding. The couple included a large dessert table you can see in the next pictures.
The venue was at The Barn at Greystone Farm in Watsontown. This is the second time we have delivered to this venue, and we were pleased to see they have upgraded many features of the structure so that it is a very elegant and welcoming space for a grand event. The table for the cake was small and highlighted the cake while giving the couple access to the pictures during the cutting ceremony. Very well done.
This was the dessert table we delivered. There were seven items on the table: Milk Chocolate Mousse, Tiramisu Cups, Dulce Tres Leche Cups, Passionfruit Tartlets, Lime Tartlets, and Coconut Tartlets. Excellent choice. Each one was made with the best ingredients and care, and the flavors were intense. The place was elegant; the guests were all dressed in their best; the catering was top quality by Plate & Platter; the cake was beautiful; the dessert table was diverse and delicious; the bride and groom were the luckiest people in the whole world that day. We wish them the best in their new life!
This wedding cake in a simple buttercream frosting, decorated with real pressed flowers we bought through Etsy, reflected the Boho style of the wedding couple. They were lovely! They came for a tasting at our studio, and we had a nice and long conversation. Even the flavor they chose was unique: banana cake with banana filling and vanilla icing. This is a 6 and 8-inch cake, serving 36 portions, good for the family and wedding cohort. The guests were presented with two cupcake towers shown next.
The cake and two cupcake towers were displayed as a centerpiece under the large tent, surrounded by a lovely garden, on top of a hill, with a beautiful view of the Susquehanna Valley. The venue was a private house, in Unityville, near Hughesville. They set up a tent, lots of welcoming tables and chairs, and the weather could not have been better for their special day.
We were told by a close friend of the bride that she had visited many antique stores and purchased a large variety of glassware and that each guest under the tent had a unique and different drinking glass placed at their table. That was so amazing! Just look again at the previous picture and look at the tables behind! Also, the centerpiece for the couple was this ornate and gorgeous loveseat that felt so right in place with the Boho decor. What a lovely setting for a wedding!
This beautiful cake is decorated with gum paste (sugar) flowers that I made by hand. Even the leaves are sugar! The bride's color was Dusty Rose, and it was a lovely choice for their color palette. It is a small 4 and 6-inch cake serving 26 standard portions. This wedding cake is another example of a choice for a small cake for the wedding cohort and a large selection of cupcakes for the guests. We let them use our cake stand and cupcake towers as a compliment to their order and they were so grateful for that service.
The venue was at the Tiadaghton Farm at Jersey Shore, and they had a nice table ready for the cake and cupcakes. The place was gorgeous, as you can see in the following picture. The selection of cupcakes at the table were: Vanilla with vanilla icing, Chocolate with Peanut Butter icing, Chocolate with Raspberry icing, Brownie with Mocha icing. There were two trays of macarons: vanilla and caramel. What a lovely choice for their guests!
This was the setting for the guests at the Tiadaghton Farm venue in Jersey Shore. The small mauve table at the front was for the wedding couple, simple and open, so they could easily mingle with the guests. One cute detail: they had an old-style dial telephone on a table, you know, the one you had to lift the handset to talk, and you just had to talk into it and leave a message to the newlyweds. It was pink and real and legit! That was so cute! The owners were very friendly and accommodating when we arrived to set the table. Best wishes for this couple!
The cake under the flowers was simple and elegant. The natural flowers flowing in a rich cascade created an impressive bouquet that almost made the bride cry when she saw it before the ceremony. We work with local florists, and this was Janet's Floral.
This heart-shaped cake with lovely swirls and flowers, all in the same color, creates a beautiful pattern that is rich and elegant. No topper, no distractions, just a three-word promise of love.
The style for the wedding needed a birch wood pattern on the cake with Natural Sunflowers and strawberries for a colorful accent. We printed the birch bark on rice paper and that created the perfect texture and tones that made the cake look natural and beautiful.
The style of the wedding was country cowboy with lots of leather and browns, boots, vests, hats, bark, and two towers of chocolate cupcakes. The topper was the couple on horses holding hands. Very cool.
This young couple wanted to celebrate their wedding vows privately and under the stars. How lovely. I made this small cake of the Starry Night with the swirl, and the stars, like in the famous painting. The poem is my husband's idea, the forever romantic.
This Halloween Day's wedding in a Gothic style was a unique request. The cake has an elaborate lace decoration in black over Burgundy colored buttercream, with a bouquet of real flowers. It was a small cake for the family. The quests were treated to the cupcakes in the following picture.
These were the two towers of cupcakes for the guests at the Halloween Gothic Style Wedding. There were four flavor combinations to satisfy the "Trick or Treat" part of the evening.
The venue for this event was the Scottish Rite Auditorium, and it was a very appropriate setting, majestic and elegant. Notice the cake in the center, framed by the marble and tile of the ballroom. The organizers were very welcoming and easy to work with. This is a true gem in Williamsport.
This was a major production of cupcakes. Fourteen dozen cupcakes in seven flavor combinations. Notice that each tower has a label with the flavor and on the back of the label, the ingredients. This is standard in my cupcake tables so the guests can be sure of their selection and enjoy them more.
Another view of the same cupcake table. I heard they were all gone by the end of the reception! What a pleasure to serve something beautiful and delicious!
This couple is very in tune with Nature and wanted a cake that was at the same time elegant and rustic. So, I created a three-tier cake in creamy smooth buttercream with a realistic tree bark in chocolate, decorated with mushrooms in fondant, moss in rice paper, and lichen in sugar. The cake was presented on the wedding venue on a real wood platform we have used for several weddings.
I love to make realistic flowers, and this was a new experience to make realistic bark and natural accents on the tree trunk. The wedding reception was going to be outside, surrounded by the forest and I had to make it elaborate and elegant at the same time.
You can appreciate the contrast between the smooth buttercream and the realistic tree bark in chocolate. Most couples bring a picture of their idea. This couple just told me their wish, and I came up with the design. They were so cute trying to articulate a vision and a desire! Best wishes to them!
Can you imagine this was the second cake requested in the same Classic Piping method of the previous one? And they selected this style without knowing I was going to make the other one! This was a grand cake, and the piping was a bit easier for me after practicing with the first one. Still, there are 12 layers of cake, three on each tier, gallons of buttercream, and about eight hours of piping. What a joy!
This was a big project! I made the feathers ahead of time, then the peacock topper, then the cupcakes, decorated them, and finally everything came together at the table. I'm so happy!!!
This was my dream of the peacock cascade of feathers over the cupcakes, and it worked!
The peacock was so graceful, and I wanted him to bless the newlyweds with a nod and a wink. Enjoy sweet works of art from my cake studio!
I added a detail of lace over the buttercream frosting, it looks gorgeous!
Every feather was handmade, every detail was planned, every dream was dreamt. Does that make sense?
A simple cake to display my idea of a wedding cake that is simple, yet elegant, and will show my customers my commitment to my art and to their happiness.
The three roses are sugar gum paste; the leaves are also sugar. Everything was hand-made for this creation.
This cake was for a Bridal Shower. Mom brought me the Barbie that most resembled her beautiful daughter, and I made all the rest. She loved the memories it brought her and her friends at the shower. Lovely!
Simple and elegant, this small cake for the couple's family is in Swiss Buttercream with a branch of wildflowers in elegant purple. The golden accents add a touch of brightness to the design.
The wedding table was set outside under a large tent, in front of a lovely lake and surrounded by an expansive lawn. Five dozen cupcakes served the guests on this happy occasion.
This three-tier cake decorated with real wildflowers from Janet's Floral was a beautiful creation. I saw the bride's bouquet, and this bouquet matched hers perfectly.
The cake was a beautiful accent to this lovely wedding. Twin Meadows Farm felt fresh and spacious and did a wonderful job of receiving and serving this lovely couple. I am so glad to be part of this wedding celebration!
The wedding table was welcoming and beautiful. I delivered fruit tartlets, chocolate cupcakes with peanut butter frosting, and cinnamon rolls. We saw the menu from the kitchen, and this party was going to be something amazing! Love is Sweet!
This is the most classic piping cake I have made so far. It was a challenge and a pleasure, and I practiced many techniques to achieve this result. It is all buttercream with sugar pearls as accents. The whole cake weighs about 70 pounds. The piping method is called "Lambeth Style" and took two days of piping to achieve this result. What a beautiful cake!
This is a vintage look at the Lambeth Style cake. The topper is the groom's grandparent's wedding topper. That is such a classic couple's topper that it complements the cake perfectly. My compliments to the couple and their families. There was a lot of love invested in this cake.
This is the topper from the groom's grandparent's wedding. I refreshed the silk bowties with a steam iron and fluffed up the skirt, so the couple in the topper matched the lovely young couple getting married at the Country Club. Best wishes for life!
This is the front side of a tall cake decorated with piped wildflowers. This decoration matched the flower arrangements on all tables. Wildflowers are so small and delicate that would not survive on a cake, so the piped flowers looked more vibrant.
This is the back side of the cake. It is such a happy and fresh idea for a lovely young couple. The venue was at The Pajama Factory, a cool place with a Steampunk vibe that attracts a diverse group of resident artists. They also have apartments to accommodate the couples. What an exciting weekend!
This is how the cake looked at the reception: picture perfect for the newlyweds.
This dessert table for a New Year's wedding at Nomad's Distillery was a fully gluten-free collection of cake pops, cheesecakes, and parfait cups with chocolate mousse. They told us they were delicious and could not believe they were made gluten free.
My favorite flower is the orchid, with its simple shape and exotic stories. Perfect choice for this cake decorated with Swiss Buttercream.
The green Succulents represent the groom, strong in the center, and the white Roses surround him as the bride, in a lovely dance of shapes and sweet dreams. Flowers are handmade in gum paste and cupcakes have fancy piping techniques.
What a fresh idea, and what better way to start a new adventure together! The Stitch and Angel figures were shaped in fondant and pop out with lots of good vibes. The ones in the flat sheet cake were edible-ink printed.
We love our pets! These "kids" have their own personalities, and they love us back without reservations. This couple wanted their five doggies to be part of the ceremony! So, I worked from pictures they provided, made silicone molds of plastic figurines I bought, from which I produced a figurine in fondant and painted them according to the pictures. That was fun! The two roses are gum paste, and the cake is draped in fondant. The black dog chewing on the cake was their idea!
Three pairs of sugar roses punctuate this classic white buttercream. I enjoy making roses and trying to recreate their natural loveliness. The roses, leaves, and baby's breath are all handmade in gum paste. In the end, they remain as a souvenir from the wedding and will keep well in a cool dry environment.
White buttercream with a splash of lavender, and punctuated with silver flakes, make the canvas for Natural Flowers. I work directly with the florists to get a nice bouquet and prepare the flowers. They need the stems wrapped and cannot "touch" the cake! They also lose freshness quickly. Some flowers are poisonous and not acceptable, so if you want real flowers, find a list of the good ones and work with that. They will not make the decorations less expensive for you, or easier for me! Below is the cake at the venue, the Watsontown Inn, with a cupcake tower besides it.
This was a very simple and elegant wedding cake. Buttercream frosting and sugar roses. It reminds me of the Japanese art of flower arranging called Ikebana.
This was a wedding in October with an Autumn theme. The style is a "Naked Cake" and all the decorations are gum paste sugar. You can see the front and back on these two pictures.

This 60th wedding anniversary cake was a very special request. The children of this couple had a very specific nostalgic idea of what they wanted, recreating a memory. I made the bouquet in gum paste and decorated the cake with, what else, lots of diamonds! The venue was at Eagles Mere Country Club. Lucky couple! Lucky children!
This is another example of Natural Flowers and eucalyptus leaves. The hexagonal shape of the cake, frosted in simple buttercream, makes a distinct and memorable impression. Working with a good florist ensured that the flowers matched all the other flowers decorating the venue. The venue was Farrington Place, and they are easy to work with.
Another example of a grand cake at Farrington Place. This one has some of the most elaborate flowers and decorations I have made.
The topper is a fully open rose, while the others are classic white roses. The filler garlands are small Stephanotis flowers.
Again, at Farrington Place, this couple was very much into music and the color Teal. I am very careful to recreate the colors that the customer requests and match the theme and decor of the event.
The wedding cake will be part of the memories of one of the most important days of a couple, and I want to honor their wishes.
This wedding marked a new beginning in the life of this couple. And off they go in their shared adventure! The frosting is Swiss buttercream with pearl accents, two gum paste roses on the top, a large fondant bow on the base, and the couple!
I sculpted the smiling figures, the Vespa, and the flowers. That was a lovely project for a lovely couple! The venue was the grand and elegant Genetti Hotel. You can see the cake way back on the right-hand side of the wedding table.
This is the largest wedding cake I have made so far. Five tiers in three cake flavors, with a grand splash in blue and gold flakes, and six large gum paste flowers. We had to bring it in two parts, and finish decorating it at the venue. What an adventure!
The flowers were two open Peonies, three white roses, and one David Austin Rose in peach. We also provided a rustic wooden base for the cake that matched the decor of the venue. The venue was The Sacred Oak Vista, and they have one large oak tree in front of the terrace. Very appropriate!
This was made for a Wedding Expo, to showcase some of my techniques and skills. One young lady liked it so much that she ordered one in real cake for her bridal shower. The following two pictures of The Floating Bride are the ones I made with real cake inside. Everything outside, even the veil, is sugar!
I have made two of these Cupcake Diamond Rings so far, both for bridal showers. My cupcakes are larger than the standard cupcakes, to give you a generous portion of cake, and the frosting is light and not too sweet, just the right complement for the cake.
This was a very special request. The families arranged a large party for both of them and the couple (R & T) entered the party as boyfriend and girlfriend. The boy kneeled and proposed in front of the party. She said yes. They turned the cake around and announced they were engaged! I wonder what could have happened if she said no?
The figures and red heart with the R & T were cut from rice paper with a Cricut machine and placed over fondant. The tree was particularly challenging to cut twice and overlap it to get the pink shadow effect.
This is the cake for the same couple (R & T) who got engaged above. How nice to be able to make both cakes! Now I'm waiting for the children's birthday cakes! This is one of the few times I have used silk flowers and leaves.
This is an example of natural roses and leaves over a frosting style called "naked cake". The wedding was outside under a large tent, at the top of a hill with a large grass expanse, so the cake and the cupcakes below matched the ambience very well.
